Marie Antoinette’s Temple of Love in the Petit Trianon grounds
It was built in 1778 by Richard Mique who served as the primier architetecte to the royal family from 1774 to 1785. He also built the Queen’s Hamlet Village.During the French Revolution he was arrested along with his son for conspiring to save Marie Antoinette and condemned to death on July 7, 1794, just three weeks before the end of revolution
